Isabella 16 months

Hello

Isabella is now 16 months old. She is doing great. She continues to use her sign language to communicate but has also added some words as well such as "All done" and "mamma."

She is still dealing with her wheat and soy allergy so she wont be able to try any of the Swedish christmas cookies we are planning on making.

She loves music and dancing (spinning around or swaying back and forth). She also enjoys her books and anything with buttons (including daddy's ipod and the remote control)

It's a puppet show featuring Isabella and Lance as Bert the Frog. It's very entertaining, if I may say so myself.

Hello Again

If you haven't already seen it. Isabella is now starring in her own show; The Bert and Bella Show.

We are planning on more episodes.

Recently she discovered the meaning of No and can now communicate it by shaking her head.

Isabella 14 months

Isabella just turned 14 months. She is getting better at her walking and has learned some sign language so she can communicate better with us. Here are a couple of videos. As you can see we have our hands full.

Isabella 1 year

So a lot has happened since the last blog. We went to Sweden to visit family, Bella started walking (very recently) and she had her first birthday.

The Sweden trip was a great success. Being around so many people all the time really made her personality blossom. She's now quite the social butterfly.

She got a walker (shaped like a lion) for her birthday but after trying it a few times she decided she didn't need it and is now walking around (carefully). I have a video up on facebook if you haven't already seen it. She still prefers crawling but she's walking more and more every day.

Here are some photos from the birthday party. I made a gluten free cake so she could have some. She liked it.

Bella 10 months (almost)

Wow how time flies. Isabella will be 10 months on the 4th.

Lance, Devon, Bella and I all went to the park yesterday. Bella decided to show off her standing up skills. We got a video of it.

She is now "cruising" (moving herself around on two feet while holding on to things) around the

apartment.

She likes to talk too. She says a variety of syllables; ba-ba, ma-ma, da-da.

She likes playing peak-a-boo, reading (and eating) books and taking things out of boxes (not putting them back in).

Next month we are all traveling to Sweden to visit family and friends.

Bella 9 months

So Bella is now 9 months. Today we went to Leah and Norm's Bridal Shower. We got to dress up in one of our many pretty dresses. Here are some pics.

Today Bella also stood up all by herself. She was holding onto my knee and then she let go and stood there for a couple of seconds before she decided to sit down.

She has also started to play peak-a-boo and point at things.
